Filled with cheerful laughter at a charity party, the afternoon before Christmas echoed with moving music
GP DEVA and the Taipei City Visual Disability Senior Association (PAVI) invited guests and “angels” with visual disabilities to gather at GP DEVA XIN ART flagship store for a festive event. DIY creative aroma stones brought a surge of creativity, and performances by visually impaired artists and “Love at First Sight” party guests added warmth, happiness, and touching moments, spreading the message of love and making the world brighter!
GP DEVA has been sending warmth through winter for 20 years. This year, PAVI partnered for the “Love at First Sight” charity event, collaborating with angelic handmade aroma stones. When “Sparkling Aroma Stones” met GP DEVA “Chic Lila” blended essential oils, the delightful scents amazed everyone, earning a perfect score and marking a successful chapter in winter charity endeavors.

At the December 16 “Love at First Sight” charity party, visually impaired angels demonstrated how to make aroma stones and delivered inspiring musical performances.
After guests improvised their own DIY aroma stone creations at the party, they added “Secret Garden” essential oil blend to the stones. The immediate release of fragrance helped everyone relax their body and mind in a truly delightful way.

Chairwoman Betty Chou of GP DEVA donated NT$250,000 in ticket proceeds to the Taipei City Visual Disability Senior Association (PAVI) and had previously donated the sales proceeds of 500 sets of charity aroma stones from the event. At the party, honorary chair Violet Chang shared that she hopes to help visually impaired artists demonstrate their full potential, boost their confidence in work and life, and encourage more caring individuals and companies to focus on social welfare and support disadvantaged groups.
After earning her degree at Chang Geng University, Violet Chang volunteered for years with companion reading programs. She said that visually impaired people face many challenges in daily life and need extra support in some areas. With collaboration and encouragement, visually impaired people can ride public transportation independently and accomplish many life skills on their own. The “Love at First Sight” charity event helps provide them with greater confidence and more opportunities for employment.

In an interview, PAVI’s teacher, Ms. Hou, said: “The children’s aroma stones aren’t perfect—visually impaired hands inevitably create small variations or minor blemishes. But it’s precisely because they’re not flawless that each handmade aroma stone is truly unique.”
The 2023 “Love at First Sight” charity party was a complete success, thanks not only to the strong support of the Taipei City Visual Disability Senior Association but also to the heartfelt efforts of party partners.
At the party, the angels performed with genuine emotion, moving every guest in attendance. GP DEVA prepared a surprise Christmas gift for the angels, while the guests were left with hearts full of warmth.

PAVI board chair Ms. Hsiu-ling said: “Thank you to GP DEVA for providing such a venue and platform, allowing PAVI to showcase the fruits of many years of hard work.” She invited guests to visit the association’s headquarters for an introduction to the aroma stone making process.
One honored guest, Mr. Chang Han-dong, founder of the Polish Arts Association in Taiwan, was so moved that he immediately donated NT$10,000 to support PAVI's aromatherapy training for the visually impaired—an act of heartfelt generosity.

The Christmas charity party was a celebration of the holiday and a message of love. GP DEVA hopes every guest can extend a helping hand to bring warmth to the world, while looking forward to greater future participation in social welfare and spreading more positive energy!
The joint aroma stone charity sales campaign continues—everyone is welcome to support and take part in this meaningful event!
