Nine Dragons Imperial Cup (single, red gold)

NT$500

In Chinese culture, the dragon symbolizes supreme power and good fortune. The number nine represents the highest yang. Together, nine dragons signify imperial prestige, embodying nobility, auspiciousness, and reverence since ancient times.

Blue-and-white porcelain (qinghua) is a celebrated ceramic tradition in China, with origins in the Tang and Song dynasties and flourishing in the Ming and Qing.

This cup echoes the beauty of qinghua, crafted from mountain clay and fired at 1,260°C. Delicately thin, it produces a resonant and auspicious tone when water is added and the moistened rim is gently rubbed. It is both functional and collectible.
